SRV GUITAR TECHNIQUES

Get Started Now

Learning these techniques was the key for me to get out of the "average" type guitar player. His vision was simply one of the best in the world of blues and I was able to understand exactly what was so special about his technique.

It is now my responsibility to share this knowledge.

I often get asked what gear do I use, or what gear did Stevie use to sound the way he did. My question in reply is, “if Stevie were to play with your guitar and your gear, would he still sound the way he did?”… Of course he would.

It is strictly not the gear it is all about understanding the way he approached notes and scales.

WHAT OTHERS HAVE TO SAY

I hear so many shredders and boring solos on youtube and this little snippet is exactly how I want to play guitar.

Hello Chris! First of all... I can't tell you enough how beautifull your work and dedication to guitar and SRV's playing style is! Can't wait to absorbe that knowledge and experience that you are sharing and to support you to keep moving forward!

I just ran across your Little Wing vid..... I’m speachless.. THAT was freakin amazing and brought goosebumps. I’ve been playing most of my life to be able to play SRV like you do...much MUCH work ahead of me! Absolutely awesome!

Your rendition, even the long version, was TRULY IMPECCABLE. And the long version becomes intensely difficult towards the end. I applaude you for that, Chris.

Stevie Ray Vaughan was known by the way he sounded with any guitar

His legendary guitar technique is found in his recordings, however, it was in live performances where you could really appreciate how much more he could do.
